- The Forbes and Lomax 2A and 5A socket outlets can be used for ligthting circuits that demand low amperages.
- These sockets come in the Invisible Socket range, the Antique Bronze range, the Nickel Silver range, the Verdigris range, the Aged Brass range, the Unlacquered Brass range, the Painted Socket range, and the Stainless Steel range.
- It can come with a White or a Black plastic insert / trim.

About the Forbes and Lomax Painted Socket Range
The Forbes and Lomax painted sockets are supplied with etch-primed face plates ready to be painted in the same colour as the wall. A choice of black or white inserts are available for all our painted sockets. These are ideal for low level sockets, blending perfectly into their surroundings.
- Forbes and Lomax Painted Socket Range is available in: Sockets and combination plate.
- Both Radius and Square edge corners are available.
- Switches are available upon request.
- All switches conform to BSEN 60669-1:2018. 13amp sockets conform to BS1363-2:2016 +A1: 2018, 2amp and 5amp sockets conform to BS546:1950
- Single plates measure 86mm x 86mm and double plates measure 146mm x 86mm
- Painted sockets are supplied with etch-primed face plates ready to be painted in the same colour as the wall.
- They are available with a choice of black or white inserts. 13amp sockets and switched fused connections can be supplied with metal switches if desired.
- A choice of black or white inserts are available for all of our painted sockets.
- The painted range is only available for sockets not switches.
- All Forbes & Lomax switches and sockets require British standard 35mm deep flush wall boxes, but we recommend 47mm for ease of installation
